Pho Gia Long

Overall rating of 70/100 I wish I could give this place a higher rating. The food quality is actually quite awesome and they do a really good pho. However, the service is atrocious. The lad who works front counter on weeknights needs a full attitude adjustment and customer service training. Really curt with all customers and quite rude really. Additionally this poor attitude also unfortunately extends to a couple of the other staff who are customer facing. I am loathed to give further future business to these guys even though I actually really like their pho. Restaurant space and setting is nice for dine in as there is loads of space.

Food was very nice and very friendly staff. We enjoyed Pho Tai (medium rare beef Pho) for $15 and Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet (special spicy beef noodle soup) for $18. Clean and very cute design. Price was very fair. Close to Flemmington station as well.

Would usually go to the other more popular Vietnamese restaurant in Flemington but because it was so busy on the day we visited, we decided to to give Pho Gia Long a try and we have not been back to the other one! They do a really nice pho ga (chicken) and crab meat noodle soup. There are plenty of other options too to try and will definitely give them a go too. Has to be one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants outside of Bankstown/Cabra. Reasonably priced too and not too expensive even in 2023. Great local restaurant and will be back again!
